Karie and Scott, your blog is fantastic. I cannot wait until I have the time to curl up with a hot chocolate or cappuccino and read the whole thing. I’ve added you to my travel blog at http://debrastravelblog.blogspot.com and cannot wait to read more of your adventures!
I wish I had known more about the “buy the local a coffee or drink” thing while I was over there last summer, that would have been a great experience….oh well, next time!

Hello Karie and Scott,
Karie, you may not remember me, but I hung out with Rich Hatheway, Jason Kear, Christina Mallory, among others during my CLC career. I found you through Kassie Dutton’s website. I am totally jealous! I have nothing to sell except two kids. It is safe to say that I will not be going on a year long adventure within the next 18 years or so. I am enjoying your blogspot tremendously, though. Please keep us informed!

Hey you two!
That’s a great blog and thanks for the nice reference! Would you mind if I used the couch picture in my CS profile?
I’m awfully sorry you saw my town and country under such bad circumstances! Maybe you should come back in summer
I just got back from my own little trip. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to CA, but I had a great time in Montreal, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Boston, Providence and NYC. No couchsurfing though, as my itinerary only took shape as I traveled along. I guess that would have been a bit too short notice for potential hosts…

I am a member on couchsurfing and I never realized that you could set up a coffee meet up. That is pretty cool. I am going to use couch surfing next summer for a trip that I am taking to eastern europe. Thanks for the tip. You should check out this new travel site that I ran across, baraaza.com. You can review destinations, upload pics, and get info for your next trip. I think you might like it.
