Hello, guess you remember me from the e-mails.
This blog entry was really meaningful, although I haven’t been there, I went to the holocaust museum in Washington, DC and I had the exact same feeling when I saw the pile of shoes they have there, so I can imagine your feeling when you saw them in the exact same place they were left. As you say, these experiences and journeys help us to love more, appreciate more and be more grateful, I don’t know if it fair to say to be grateful of being born in this era so we wouldn’t have had to live those moments, or just grateful to live in this era so we can see the result of the past and learn from our present.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful experiences… As I wrote on an e-mail, I will start my journey on october 7th…

@Ivonne & Darren: Thanks so much for your comments. This year has been a bit of a whirlwind for us, so it’s great to hear when someone else finds meaning in what I’ve written, even months down the road. It brings the experience to life for me all over again. This experience is something that I never want to forget, so I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and stimulate my memory.
